Por Larranga - Picadores

It is not for the first time that Habanos is again launching a legendary, historical cigar. The recent past again and again witnessed interesting new productions of cigars the production of which was already ceased a long time ago. Now it is the turn of the Por Larrañaga Picadores No.1. This format was already ceased in the 1970s. At that time, the cigar with a length of 127 mm and a band size of 44 was still relatively slim form the modern point of view. The spirit of the times in the meantime is demanding however larger band sizes, and thus Habanos S.A. is now manufacturing the relaunch with the same length, but a band size expanded to 48. Thus the format corresponds to that of the well-known Habanos format Hermoso No.4, which is a little slimmer and longer than that of a typical Robusto. The band itself used by Habanos for this historical cigar is also interesting: instead of the golden band usually used today, the Picadores No.1 has a band with the brand logo on red background.
