The Matilde Serena is the first Connecticut Shade cigar into the company’s portfolio, the Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade is wrapped around a proprietary Dominican binder and a combination of Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers. The cigar is extremely well balance with creamy and spicy notes, a testament to Jose Seijas’s blending skill. The cigars are being produced at Tabacalera Palma in the Dominican Republic in limited quantities.
